Piano lessons for beginner to AMEB Grade 5 students - minimum age 7.

Please note that I am based in Auchenflower, and that I do not travel to suburbs that are not within a half hour commute of Auchenflower by public transport. I generally prefer students to be at least seven years old, however, please contact me if you feel you have an exception.

Hi! My name is Caitlin Annesley, and I'm a musician, teacher and researcher, currently studying Honours at Queensland Conservatorium. I recently graduated from the Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance (Distinction), placing first in my year and attaining the Maurice Mears Memorial Prize for dedication to studies.

Although I've completed my tertiary studies as a violist, my first instrument was the piano. I hold an AMEB Certificate of Performance with Distinction and have attained Grade 6 Musicianship. I have had a number of years' experience playing piano and keyboard in my church's worship band.

Having overcome many obstacles in my own musical training, I seek to be a kind, encouraging and patient teacher to my students. I aim to nurture my students' individual love of music, whilst also ensuring they develop a healthy technique. I maintain a small private studio in Auchenflower, teaching viola, piano and violin. Most of students travel to me, however, I can arrange to travel to your home if it is within easy access of public transport - please note that I charge extra for this.
