Hello there!
I'm Caleb and I'm a pianist based in East Melbourne. When not performing, my passion is fostering a lifelong love of music by giving students the technical tools and and musical understanding necessary to help them fully achieve their own creative goals, no matter the age or skill level.
I also have a special interest in helping people with piano related injuries find an approach to the instrument which is more sustainable.

Caleb has performed extensively in both solo and chamber settings, with recent highlights including a regional tour with the acclaimed Topology Ensemble, collaborations with the Australian String Quartet, and vocalist Sara Macliver, performances at the Bangalow Music Festival, QPAC, and Hamer Hall as well as receiving the chamber music prize, and best performance of a work by Mozart during his time at ANAM. He has also had the privilege of playing in masterclasses by acclaimed artists such as Sergio Tiempo, Max Olding, Konstantin Shamray and Piers Lane, and received mentorship from Dirk Mommertz, Martin Funda, and Angelika Merkle at the Internationale Sommerakademie für Kammermusik 2023 in Germany.

Formed in 2019 through a shared passion of chamber music, the trio represents a journey of learning and discovery, and aims to enliven the genre with youthful vigour, along with a meticulous regard for musical rhetoric and ensemble craft. Over the past 4 years, the trio has enjoyed performances all over Australia.
