Canberra Music Tuition provide quality clarinet tuition with a specialist tutor. Students may learn for leisure or to prepare for exams and tertiary study.
One of our specialists is Fiona Judge. Fiona has been playing the clarinet since the age of ten, and is Canberra born and bred.
Growing up in the Canberra Instrumental Music Program Fiona experienced concert band playing and performing from a young age. During her time at school Fiona studied under Rachel Allen, and was given the opportunity to learn from Paul Dean in Rockhampton, Queensland.
Fiona was also given the opportunity to travel to Japan on a music exchange, and performed widely throughout Canberra and regional New South Wales.
In 2008 Fiona began studying with Alan Vivian, and played in several tours for the Canberra Concerto Orchestra. For the last three years Fiona has participated in the Canberra International Music Festival not only as a playing musician, but also as an event volunteer. Fiona is now completing her Bachelor of Music Performance at the ANU, and enjoys playing with a number of chamber music groups, as well as working with orchestras and as a soloist.
Fiona aims to promote confidence and enjoyment in her teaching, believing that music education can not only develop a creative skill, but can also provide personal growth and joy.
