Caroline is a clarinettist and teacher recently returned to Brisbane after living in Stockholm, Sweden, where she was mentored by Co-Principal clarinet of the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Johan Fransén. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music degree at the renowned Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University studying clarinet with Associate Professor Paul Dean and will return to Stockholm after the completion of her undergraduate degree to undertake further study in Pedagogy.
Having grown up playing clarinet and oboe, Caroline loved playing with other like-minded people which led her to take her playing to a higher level, joining the Queensland Youth Orchestras Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony and the Young Conservatorium wind and symphony orchestras. Caroline eagerly teaches enthusiastic students from her expanding private studio in Chapel Hill and often tutors at school band workshops.
Caroline can also be found training and competing in running and orienteering with the Australian national team.
