Violin Teacher - Beginners and Intermediates

Learn to love and play the violin!

We will aim to develop good technical skills, along with a deep understanding of musicianship, and a love for music. I approach this by overcoming any weaknesses while bringing out your strengths, and building upon the thinking and motivational skills necessary to become an independent and well rounded musician. This approach is tailored for the goals of each student, whether they aim for a more casual or serious experience.

For beginners, we will start with the basic skills that are fundamental for developing good technique and musicianship.
For intermediate players, we will start by assessing your current level to see what to improve.

I can also prepare students for AMEB exams if requested.

My violin experience:
• An ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) diploma with a Distinction
• Over 9 years of orchestral and ensemble experience, including the Sydney Youth Orchestra
• Completed grade 8 AMEB
• 20+ years of experience playing the violin
• Over 5 years of teaching experience
