I have a passion for music and also for passing on musical knowledge. I teach a diverse range of styles in double bass (classical and jazz), guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, strings group, recorder, music theory (Musicianship and Music Craft). I also have over twenty years experience of playing and touring in jazz, blues and folk and work as a composer/arranger. My Bachelor of Music studies focused on both performance and composition theory and I was a finalist in the 2006 UK International Songwriting Competition. I also work professionally as a music type-setter and notation copyist to prepare scores for publishing.
