I am a 17 year old violinist and pianist from Wombarra, Australia. For 4 years I have been studying on a full scholarship at Manhattan School of Music, New York. Initially I studied under the guidance of Russian soloist Albert Markov, however in 2018 I moved to Canadian violinist and pedagogue Lucie Robert. In the past few years, I have been privileged to play as a soloist with the southern highlands symphony and the Steel City Strings orchestra. As a prize for winning the Manhattan School of Music string concerto competition, I was meant to appear with the MSM philharmonic orchestra playing Mendelssohn violin concerto, however due to Covid-19 this was not possible.
Throughout my time in my states, I have taught both piano and violin from complete beginners to intermediate players. Teaching is one of the best ways to improve ones own playing, and I live working through problems with my students.
