Violin/Viola lessons

**Currently no vacancies

I am a professional violinist, and was a member of Orchestra Victoria (a full time Opera and Ballet orchestra in Melbourne), from 1998-2015.

I am currently a freelance musican, and play with the Qld Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet, the Qld Ballet, The Australian Session Orchestra and the Sanctuary String Quartet. Recent shows have included The Pirates of Penzance, Singin' in the Rain, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Les Miserables and Into the Woods.

I have been teaching violin and viola for over 30 years both privately and in schools and am currently a violin specialist at Somerville House and All Hallows' School, and a strings examiner for AMEB.

I am able to prepare students for AMEB exams, or just for fun. I can also prepare students for auditions and music scholarships.

My students receive excellent AMEB results, and have been accepted into the Qld Conservatorium, Qld Young Conservatorium, Qld Youth Orchestras, Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Moreton Bay Youth Orchestra, and Western Suburbs String Orchestra.
