Candice loves students who are passionate and eager to learn. All methods include basic techniques that you will need to learn on the violin, including; music theory, scales, and technical exercises.
Music learning and playing improves hand-eye coordination. It can also improve on health in general! The outcome of music learning can be extremely enjoyable and rewarding.
About Candice:
Candice is a classical violinist at the Melbourne Conservatorium, studying the Bachelor of Music degree with Honours. She is currently studying with Mark Mogilevski from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
She has been playing the violin since she was 4 years of age, and has been immersed in music ever since.
Candice has been involved in many chamber ensembles, such as string quartets, piano trios, string ensemble and orchestras (Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School orchestra and University of Melbourne Symphony+Philharmonic Orchestra). Candice has also been tutored and taught by many professional musicians from the ACO (Australian Chamber Orchestra) and the MSO (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra)
Since 2012, Candice has performed many violin solo recitals at VCASS and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She is also a recipient of great numbers of awards and scholarships.
Candice has been giving music lessons since 2015. She is committed to helping students of all ages to experience the joy of playing the violin. She is a very passionate, enthusiastic and experienced teacher and structures her lessons around the student, their personality and their needs, making sure they are playing at the best of their abilities.
She also helps her students pass AMEB Exams with excellent grades. Being an alumni, Candice helps students who wish to study at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School.
