Chloe Ann Williamson is uniquely positioned with her experience as both a professional musician and teacher. She performs regularly with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, Queensland Pops Orchestra and with her string quartet collective, Four Strings.
A graduate of the University of Queensland (Master of Philosophy in Music; Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours), Queensland University of Technology (Graduate Diploma in Education with Distinction) and the University of Tasmania (Graduate Certificate in Music Studies), Chloe is a QCT registered teacher who has taught instrumental music in school settings and from her home studio since 2007. She is experienced in preparing students for auditions and exams, in particular, QYO/AYO and AMEB with great results.
The leading proponent of tango double bass in Australia, Chloe has a host of accolades and a special interest in Argentine tango as an art form (see her ensemble Tango Enigmático for more information).
