Looking to get started on guitar? Young, old, somewhere in between? I can help you.
I teach almost any kind of student; beginners who are just realising how much is possible on the guitar, right through to seasoned professionals who wish to increase their technical or melodic facility, increase their earning potential through their own teaching, or hobbyists who simply want to be better players for the fun of it.
My approach to teaching guitar is simple: Identify the goals, and plan a course of action to accomplish them. It worked for me as a player, and I believe it will work for you too.
We'll focus on all aspects of what a guitar player needs to know, starting with things like chords, single notes, how to tune a guitar, how to use a capo, strumming techniques, finger picking, playing popular songs and most importantly, playing music you like!
Most of my students are capable of playing some recognisable tunes within the first block of lessons. It's not so hard with the right teacher (me) and the time to practice the material (you).

Why should I learn from you instead of the local music school?
Experience: I play guitar for a living in a multitude of styles including pop, funk, metal, jazz, acoustic, and I have real world experience. Schools often enlist uni students or inexperienced players because it's cheaper for them to do so.
Value: because I work from my private facilities, I don't have to factor large overheads or running costs into my pricing.
Dedication: I'm a patient teacher who really wants to see you fulfill your potential as a guitar player.
Payback! With my referral program, you get a free lesson for every new student you refer who books and pays for a 5-lesson block!
Fun: I make this look easy! Come for a lesson and see for yourself.
