One of the country's finest harmonica players offers private one-on-one harmonica lessons in Coburg, Melbourne. The advice Chris Maunders provides to his students enables harmonica players of all levels and ages to gain a deeper understanding of the instrument and to excel in thier playing, no matter the style of interest. Students will stregnthen their musical skills and kowledge in a relaxed environment, working towards thier personal goals.

Being the first in the country to carry out a Bachelor degree on the chromatic harmonica, Chris is the only harmonicist to attend Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) as well as one of few to win the Tamworth Golden Harmonica competition on the chromatic harmonica in 2011. He has gained a large amount of experience and recognition playing with diverse groups from Blues to Bebop, Afrobeat to Ethiopian groove and many styles in between. He has performed in countless bars, music venues and festivals and enjoys time spent with students discussing all musical concepts and approachs to playing.

Diatonic/Blues Harmonica - Beginner/Int

Sight reading, improvising, aural skills, rhythmic ideas, composing and transcribing will all be included depending on what skills you would like to develop.
