Chris welcomes inquiries from professional voice users and aspiring professional performers. He specialises in musical theatre and other contemporary music styles, and spoken voice use.

ABOUT ME
Chris is a leading voice teacher, vocal coach, and pianist.

His clients include recording artists, music theatre performers, television and film actors. Students and former students are currently featured in many musicals in the West End, including Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables. His students can also be seen on all main stages in Australia - recent shows that feature his students include The Book of Mormon, The Boy From Oz, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder, Oklahoma, American Idiot, We Will Rock You, Beautiful, Rocky Horror, Dreamlover, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys, Aladdin, Hello Dolly, Funny Girl, Brigadoon, Avenue Q, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Mamma Mia!

Chris served as Head of Singing & Music at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts London 2012-2015, and in the Music Theatre department at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne 2015-2018. He was on faculty as a spoken voice and singing teacher for the Guildford School of Acting, UK. He has served as guest faculty at The Royal Academy of Music (Vocal Workout), The Royal Scottish Conservatoire (Summer Program), Millennium Dance, De Acteerstudio (Netherlands), BK Vocal Studio (Slovenia), Wild Voices (Canberra) and Ballarat Arts Academy.

Chris trained as a singer and pianist in his native Australia, as an MT performer in Singapore, and further studied voice pedagogy in the UK, gaining an Masters degree in the Practice of Voice and Singing from the Guildford School of Acting. He is currently researching a PhD in voice pedagogy at the University of Melbourne.
