Chris offers individual and group lessons for all vocal styles from beginners to professional. He teaches classes in speech skills for actors,public speakers and teachers.

His aim is the help each student find the natural and free expression of their voice and enjoy the power and enjoyment it offers them.

Chris is trained in vocal pedagogy and is an experienced vocal therapist. He has extensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human voice. He offers advice and therapy for those who feel they are having difficulty with singing and speaking.

He has had a long career in opera and musical theatre, and brings an understanding of high level performance skills and how to develop them.

His lead roles with Opera Australia include Barber of Seville, La Cenerentola, L'elsir d'amore, Maria Stuarda, Pearl Fishers and a Helpmann award nomination for his role in Madeline Lee.

Internationally he has also performed major roles in famous world companies including San Francisco Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu - Barcelona , Het Musiktheater - Amsterdam, Welsh National Opera and Semperoper Dresden.

Among his musical theatre credits a principal role in the original Australian production of "Sweeney Todd".
