Cienna completed her Bachelor of Music (Honours) in viola performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2018, and is currently completing her Master of Music Studies (Performance) degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She began playing the viola at the age of 8, and has been immersed in music ever since. She played the piano and sung in choirs throughout school, and has extensive music theory knowledge.
Cienna is a passionate and enthusiastic music teacher who aims to unlock the musical potential in all of her students, inspiring them to progress and achieve their goals. Her dedication to music extends into her lessons by using a blend of technical and musical tuition.
Cienna was very involved in chamber (string quartets, piano quartets, piano trios) and orchestral ensembles (University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), where she thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her peers, working in a team and playing a range of different music styles. In 2014, Cienna performed a viola solo at the Melbourne Recital Centre, and was also the school Instrumental Music Captain for her house in the Performing Arts Festival.
