  • AMusA (Flute)

Hello and welcome!

I am a passionate music teacher that specialises in teaching beginner-intermediate piano. I currently teach piano, flute, voice and music theory to students of all ages. My teaching experience includes:

  • working at a private music school for 3 years (piano, flute, voice, theory)
  • working at Coatesville Primary School for 2 years (keyboard)
  • private tuition (at my home)

I have taught over 100 students, many of whom have continued lessons with me for several years, working towards their individual goals (eg. AMEB music exams, enhancing musicality, developing technique).

I completed a Bachelor of Music/Science double degree at Monash University in 2020, majoring in Popular Voice. I have a strong background in music theory, having completed Grade 5 Theory of Music and extending this knowledge at university. I also have an AMEB Associate of Music (AMusA) in Flute.

In my music degree, I was trained in Estill Voice Mechanics and performed a range of genres, including contemporary/popular music, musical theatre, and jazz. I currently sing in a classical church choir as lead soprano. I have recently performed my own fundraising concerts in contemporary voice and piano.

I strongly believe in the importance of music education and the range of benefits it brings. I am keen for my students to experience the joy of creating music!

I have a current Working With Children Check.
