I currently teach at a private studio in the east, a P-12 after-school program in the west, and am open to private lessons at my home in Box Hill South. I have a Bachelor of Music (Honours), am a member of the Victorian Music Teachers Association (VMTA), and have a valid Working with Children Check.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Melbourne’s conservatorium where I was section leader of second violins in the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and was awarded with several scholarships. I currently work in both a private teaching studio and an after-school string teaching program.
I am currently working at a school as a teaching artist in Melbourne's west, and at a music studio in the east. I have a diverse performance portfolio, working with international artists as part of the Mimir Chamber Music Festival, national stars such as Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and even a performance with the ABC.
I started teaching because I knew the difference a good teacher could make to a student's musical education, and can make or break a student's relationship with music. I do my best to make their experience as enjoyable and informative as possible, because I'm not only a representative of the violin, but of music in general.
