Hi there! I am a Melbourne-based teacher offering lessons in folk fiddle, classical violin, oboe, and music theory.

Lessons are individually tailored to the learner, my main aim is to make the process of learning music fun, and develop the skills you want to learn. Any skill level can be catered for.
Ad-hoc lessons and short-term courses can be arranged, as well as regular lessons. Day time or evening lessons are available.

I have experience teaching adults and children in a variety of different settings, and extensive experience working with people with additional needs.

I am a specialist in folk/traditional/celtic music, having studied on the folk degree at Newcastle University (UK), with thorough knowledge of English traditional music, also playing in the Scottish, Irish, American and Scandinavian traditions. I am also a confident classical musician, teaching orchestral and solo classical repertoire.
