Courtney Cook

A Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) First Class Honours and University Medal recipient, Courtney Cook has a passion for bringing joy through music. As an emerging Australian artist, the Griffith University Honours College Scholar was guided by Paul Dean, current Head of Woodwind at QCGU and former Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music, through her undergraduate study.

Courtney plays and performs extensively on both clarinet and Eb clarinet in several chamber ensembles and showcases her skills in the QCGU symphony and opera orchestras. In 2018, she participated in Summer Music in Tuscany, an annual chamber music festival in Italy and in 2017, she undertook an internship with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and participated in an international tour to Hong Kong, China and Germany with the Queensland Youth Symphony. She is also a passionate clarinet teacher who hopes to bring joy through music education.
