Courtney is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University with a Bachelor of Music majoring in viola performance. She has attained her AMusA on viola, Grade 7 on violin and Grade 6 in Musicianship, and has years of experience performing solo, as part of numerous orchestras and ensembles, and loves performing chamber music. Upon auditioning for the Queensland Conservatorium, Courtney was awarded the Nora Baird Memorial Fund Audition Bursary. She also holds a valid Blue Card.
Courtney is passionate about the teaching and sharing of music and loves inspiring young musicians to reach their potential. She is continually exploring new and innovative methods of pedagogy. She is also able to teach beginner AMEB Theory and Musicianship.
Courtney teaches privately from her home located in Indooroopilly, Brisbane.
