Associate Diploma in Music Australia (AmusA) on Viola, Grade 7 AMEB Violin, Grade 6 Musicianship
Courtney is currently studying a Bachelor of Music majoring in Viola Performance at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium of Music. She completed her schooling at St Peters Lutheran College Indooroopilly where she gained experience in string teaching, was Associate Principal Viola in the St Peters Soloists and was a founding member of the electric string band Neon Pulse. In 2015 Courtney was a finalist in the St Peters Performer of the Year Recital, and upon auditioning to the Conservatorium, she attained the Nora Baird Memorial Fund Audition Bursary. Courtney is also an alumni of the Queensland Youth Symphony Orchestra. She also holds a valid Blue Card.
Courtney is passionate about the teaching and sharing of music and loves inspiring young musicians to reach their potential. She is continually exploring new and innovative methods of pedagogy. Able to teach beginner AMEB Theory and Musicianship.
Courtney teaches privately from her home located in Indooroopilly, Brisbane.
