Degree Diploma in Violin, Master´s Degree, Working With Children´s Check
Born in Seville (Spain, 1984), she began playing at the age of 7, learning with the professor Eugeny Ojoguine, member of the R.O.S.S. (Royal Symphonic Orchestra of Seville).
She made her debut at the age of 10, playing as a Soloist with the R.O.S.S. in a serie of “Concerts for the Youth” in Seville. After winning the “Andalusian Youth Musician Competition”, she also performed with another professional orchestra, O.C.G. (City of Granada Orchestra).
While studying, she performed as an orchestral musician in the National Spanish Youth Orchestra. And after graduating she successfully auditioned with the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra as a tutti violin.
In her artistic life she has collaborated with famous conductors and performers such as Aldo Cecatto, Josep Ponds or Jean-Jacques Kantorow. And, as a member of these high profile orchestras she´s recorded a number of CD´s.
In 2009 she was accepted into the Baremboim Orchestral Studies Academy, to improve her orchestral skills, and joined the class of Mathis Fischer, Soloist of the Staatskapelle Orchestra in Berlin (Germany).
She completed a Masters Degree in e-Learning and Social Media in La Rioja University (U.N.I.R.) in Spain.
In 2010 Cristina held a full time position as a Professor in Spanish Conservatories. Since then, she´s been teaching and performing in orchestral and ensemble work.
Currently she´s teaching violin at Ebenezer Music School in Sydney.
Cristina plays a 1961 Tyrolesse copy of a Raffaele Vaccari violin.
