Curtis Lau

Hello! My name is Curtis and I studied at the Sydney Conservatorium but most recently studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany. During my time in Sydney I had the honour of being a recipient of many scholarships and prizes through the Sydney Conservatorium, Sydney Eisteddfod and others. I have also had the great privilege of performing across Europe, Asia and the United States performing in prestigious venues such as Suntory Hall, Berlin Philharmonie and the Sydney Opera House.

I regularly tutor for the Sydney Youth Orchestras and held a prominent teaching position at Sydney Boys high school, as well as directed their Senior Strings program. Some of my student’s accomplishments include being accepted into The Art Unit program, Sydney Youth Orchestras.

I am keen on accepting private students both in person and online. If you would be interested in just having an extra set of ears for a one-off lesson whether it be for any upcoming auditions or performances, I would love to help out there too!
