My name is Dan Pennington and I’m a highly qualified and professional guitarist with over 25 years of performing and teaching experience. I also hold and Advanced Diploma in Music Performance.

I am offering both:

• Mobile guitar lessons where I come to you

• Lessons from my own home in Reservoir

Whichever is most suitable for you!

Over the years I have taught hundreds of students of all ages (from 4 to 65) and skill levels (absolute beginner to advanced) on both acoustic and electric guitar.

I have prepared many students for ANZCA practical and theory exams, VCE music performance exams and tertiary entrance auditions for such universities as VCA and Melbourne Polytechnic. But I also absolutely cater to the complete beginner looking to have their very first lesson ever.

As well as my private lessons I have also taught at the following:

Music studios including: Paladino Dance Music & Drama school, Wendy’s music

Primary schools including: Ivanhoe East, Yarrambat, Romsey

Secondary Colleges including: St Albans, Werribee, Maribyrnong

As a live performer I have played in a variety of bands, duos, ensembles for over 25 years. I have played hundreds of gigs at pubs, bars, weddings, corporate events, birthdays etc. I am currently in the cover band “Brightside” which I formed in 2009.

30 min lesson: $25

45 min lesson: $35

60 min lesson: $45

*The above prices are for lessons at my home. For mobile lessons where I come to you, an addition fee of $10 is added (regardless of the duration of the lesson) to cover travel/time expenses.

*Please note: I am located in south Reservoir and only travel within 10 minutes of my location.
