Piano/Keyboard Lessons

I am available for private piano tuition, in both Jazz and Classical styles - all ages. I have recently arrived in Melbourne and am currently based in Brunswick East.

My qualifications include:

Bachelor of Music with first class honours, majoring in Jazz Piano Performance from the New Zealand School of Music.

ATCL diploma (Trinity College of London equivalent to AMEB AmusA), prior to this I completed all AMEB Classical Piano exams up to Grade 8.

Perfomance Certificate in Classical Saxophone with the Trinity College of London (equivalent to AMEB grade 8).

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, and have taken students through both Trinity College of London examinations up to Grade 8, as well as NZ Modern School of Music examinations, up to Grade 5. I am very familiar with the AMEB curriculum.

I believe in finding an individual teaching style to suit the needs and pursuits of each student, and approach lessons in a fun, diligent, and interesting way.

Whether you want to learn to read music, develop your knowledge or discover the basics of improvisation, or just need a bit of motivation to learn a few tunes, I can definitely help you out!
