I'm a graduate of the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Monash University, completing my BMus in 2015.

I regularly perform around Melbourne with various groups and am currently a member of "The Bamboos", co-lead the Afro-Cuban salsa group "La Influencia", as well as leading my own jazz quintet, which regularly performs in venues such as The Paris Cat Jazz Club and Uptown Jazz Cafe. With The Bamboos, I have recently toured around Australia as the support act for Robbie Williams on his 2018 Heavy Entertainment tour.

My passion for performance shines through in my teaching approach - I always encourage students to seek out performance opportunities wherever possible. I am extremely passionate about teaching and understand that every student is different in the way that they learn, therefore I set out individual lesson plans for all of my students. Also, what's most important is that the student is having fun!

I'm also passionate about composition and arranging and provide lessons in these fields. As an arranger/transcriber I have worked on the last three seasons of Dancing with the Stars (2013, 2014 and 2015), arranged for the 2014 and 2015 Logie Awards and am regularly working on arrangements for various projects (TV, bands, schools). Here are some videos showing what I do:

I teach a variety of styles and can prepare students for AMEB exams. My specialisation is in Jazz/contemporary styles.
