Bachelor of Music - Box Hill Institute, Bachelor of Performing Arts - Monash University
Danielle Ashmore is a Musician, Teacher and Composer. She has been involved in music for more than 20 years, has a love for continual learning, and has enjoyed playing in various bands, ensembles, orchestras and theatre productions over the years.
Since completing her Bachelor of Music at Box Hill Institute in 2014, she has been teaching Piano, Keyboard, Violin and Cello at various Primary Schools in the Peninsula area and also teaches privately.
Danielle loves to teach and share the passion she has for music with those that she comes in contact with. She teaches in a way that is fun and interactive, but is also committed to seeing that each of her students understand what they are learning; building practical, aural, technical and theoretical skills, and all the while increasing their passion and love for music along the way.
Because she is also a Composer, Danielle understands the importance of theoretical components and knows exactly how to teach them in a practical way without taking the fun out of music. All her instrumental lessons are taught in a way that students don’t even know they are learning theory.
