Pianist and Director at Crescendo Music School
Crescendo Music School is a mentoring studio specialied in piano, guitar/bass/brass/woodwinds and vocal tuition for children and adults.
Located in Williamstown close to the Newport - Spotswood - Altona areas, I/we offer courses in Latin Jazz, jazz & improvisation, contemporary and classical styles, taught by friendly qualified teachers. I/We also teach VCE - AMEB exams and piano accompaniment.
Danilo has completed a Masters of Music in performance in jazz and improvisation at the University of Melbourne by research into VCA/MCM. He studied jazz at the Popular Conservatory of Music in Switzerland and he previously lectured for 7 years at the National Conservatory of Music in Bolivia where he was born. Danilo has performed extensively in Europe and Latin America with his jazz ensembles.
Uniquely, the only Bolivian pianist and composer in Australia he brings his Latinomerican background to Australia, constantly animating the jazz scene in Melbourne performing at Birdsbasement, Benett’s Lane, Paris Cat, and Up Town. He has released the albums “Lunar” and “Jazz in Bolivia”.
Danilo is trained in classical music alongside his extensive performance experience in jazz and popular music.
Relaxed and patient, Danilo encourages his piano students to have a passion for music and ongoing dedication to learning, practicing, Growing and Performing.
