My name is Darren and I have been teaching music and piano for over 35 years. I received my musical training from some of the finest musicians in Australia completing a Bachelor of Music (Piano/Composition) , Bachelor Of Music Education, and a Masters in Music Performance, all from the University of Melbourne.

I have been a Director of Music in private schools for 30 years and regularly compose, perform and conduct.

I always endeavour to cater to my students’ needs and ability in order to best pass on my expertise and experience so that they are capable of achieving their goals on their musical journey. My main mission has always been to inspire and incite students to cultivate a love and appreciation for music, while adopting a fun, engaging and friendly approach

My fees are $45 per 30 min lesson . Lesson length will, of course, depend on the student’s age and level, but is generally between 30 minutes and an hour.

I have a current Working with Children Check and VIT.
