Bass Lessons

With over 10 years working as a professional Musician and Educator, holding both a Bachelors in Music and a Masters in Education, David has traveled the Country performing everything from cocktail jazz sets to extreme metal.

David believes in establishing the fundamentals of Music and Technique so that the Student has no barriers in the way of their Goals. If a Student clearly understands what they're trying to achieve, how it works and how it feels to play, then they will be able to let their own Artistic voice shine through and confidently perform with ease.

David is VIT registered and teaches at several private colleges. He specialises in VCE (Contemporary, Repertoire, Inquiry and Composition) and exam preparation. David has helped hundreds of Students from their very first steps through to tertiary studies and live performances, including some students who have gone on to Tour nationally in their own projects.

• Correct technique and how to play without tension
• How to read and interpret sheet music/notation
• Learning/dissecting songs and developing repertoire
• Improvising, composing parts and playing with a band
• Music theory and exam preparation
