DOUBLE BASS LESSONS

Hi,
I'm David Schilling, principal double bass of the Adelaide Symphony. I've been teaching for more than 25 years. You can check out my cv on the aso website, but my teaching career has been a huge part of my life. I have taught and examined at the Elder con, and tutored for the Australian and Adelaide Youth Orchestras, as well as teaching at leading private and public special interest music schools in Adelaide. That's all pretty irrelevant though. What is important is that my students develop a love of playing, and it's my job to see them achieve their goals in a fun, encouraging and uplifting environment. I take pride that I don't treat each student the same. Some just want some help getting around the instrument in the jazz ensemble at school, and some take it ultra seriously. That's OK, I can help with wherever you want to take it. I don't charge over-the-top prices, because, having 6 kids of my own, I know how expensive one on one tuition is. Come for a free try-out and see if we suit each other. I teach from year 3 onwards.
