David Smith - Guitar & Bass Teacher

Hi! My name is David Smith and I've been teaching guitar and bass on the Northern Beaches of Sydney since 1990. These days I run a small teaching studio in Belrose. If you've always wanted to play or if you're looking to take your playing to the next level I'd love to help you get there.

My students range in age from pre-teen to retirees and in skill level from beginner to advanced. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and interests. Depending on the individual and where they are in the learning journey this can include:

• Introduction to the guitar including beginner's guide to instrument selection and basic technique

• Reading TAB, chord charts and other forms of notation

• Learning songs / building repertoire

• Notes on the fretboard
