Drum Lessons - Home Studio or Travelling Tuition

Hey there! My name is David Ulucay, and I have an undying passion to play and teach drums. I've been playing drums since I was 15, and have been teaching for the last few years now, seeing great results within my students, across different skill levels, from beginner, through to advanced.

I have obtained a Bachelor of Music through The Australian Institute of Music, where I studied under some of Australia's great musicians and educators such as Darryn Farrugia, Gerry Pantazis, Philippe Castermane, Andrew Murray, Daryl Mckenzie, Niels Rosendahl, Glenn Cannon and Grant Windsor to name a few.

My aim as a teacher is to make learning the drums a positive and enjoyable experience, but also challenging and rewarding for the student, where the goal is to engage and inspire! The learning is led by the student and their passions, you name it, we play it! Great focus is dealt on correct technique, learning to read and recognise drum notation, learning songs and transcription.

I teach from my home, where I have a studio set up complete with high quality, professional equipment. Open to all age groups, and whether you're just starting off as a beginner or a seasoned professional, together I believe we can achieve your drumming goals!

My rates are:

$40 for 30 minutes
$70 for 60 minutes
I also can travel to you, with a callout fee of $10.
