Being a trained opera singer who sings in all styles, Donna Cain is a specialist in vocal technique and can help you greatly with your breathing and support of the voice, assist your voice to reach its full vocal range, develop the unique timbre of your voice and enable you to sing consistently in tune.
Donna achieved her vocal technique by studying extensively with acclaimed opera singers in Europe, The UK and Australia.
Donna has twice sung live on 2GB where DJ Chris Smith interviewed her about her singing career and about her autobiography, The Littlest Prima Donna.
Donna has performed for events, including the 2017 Festa Italiano for Woollahra Council, a Roseville Music Club recital with Ensemble Spiritoso, three Glebe Music Festivals, Concord Spring Fair, Campbelltown Cultural Festival and Ku-ring-gai Council’s Twilight Concert in the Park.
In 2015, Donna performed as soloist with a 62-piece symphony orchestra for Peace Concert,
held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Donna has performed the lead roles of Queen of the Night in the Magic Flute, Marsinah in Kismet and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance.
Donna sings for corporate functions. Her clients have included Parliamentary Catering and NSW Parliamentary Lions Club for events held at NSW Parliament House, as well as Ilve and Maserati.
While Donna’s specialty is opera, Donna has sung in bands and duos singing pop songs and playing percussion. Donna performs for Aged Care Centres singing in various genres: Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop, Jazz, Country and Folk.
At Annandale, Donna teaches singing to adults, from absolute beginners through to advanced.
