Piano Lessons

Dr Brieley Cutting teaches students who are dedicated to developing their skills. 
With over 20 years experience as a piano teacher, Brieley has been based in Sydney since 2020. She currently teaches from her Studio in Forest Lodge (City, Inner West), and is a Full Member of the Music Teachers' Association of New South Wales and a Steinway Educational Partner.
For those who become part of Brieley's Studio, they receive one-to-one lessons on a grand piano, regular Studio Newsletters with updates and information, and are encouraged to perform in concerts and competitions, including Brieley's Studio Concerts. Aspects of technique, sound production and style are central to Brieley's teaching, alongside encouragement to develop individual musicianship.
Brieley's students have graduated with bachelor and masters degrees, attained AMEB Diplomas, and been prizewinners in piano competitions and eisteddfods. Her students regularly receive distinctions and high distinctions for their practical examinations.
Brieley's main teachers have included Oleg Stepanov, Natasha Vlassenko, Timothy Young, Rita Reichman, Pamela Page, Max Olding, Ruth Nye and Stephen Emmerson.
