DR. KELLY PECINA - FULL VOICE STUDIO

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am the Studio Director and singing voice expert at Full Voice Studio.

Singing is so personal (we are the instrument) and I don’t use ‘cookie-cutter’ methods; instead I see the student as an individual, and through correct diagnosis offer clear, tailored strategies for maximum vocal efficiency. Having an understanding of the voice and the way that it functions is essential to teaching singing. Unfortunately many teachers don’t have this skill. Striving to be the best teacher I can be for my students I completed Masters research on young vocal pedagogy in 2017, and have recently completed my Ph.D. I now feel privileged to share this knowledge with my students and other singing teachers through my workshops and Conference presentations. I am also a sessional tutor at Macquarie University in both the Voice Studies and Education faculties.

I’ve been on a long journey over the past 23 years. I have built my skills and knowledge so that I can be the best teacher to my students. My aim is to guide singers (both aspiring and professional of all ages) through their singing journey using the best research led practices and strategies.
