A former vocal coach at Tasmanian Conservatorium and National University Ireland, after a prize/grant winning start to her Australian career she joined English National Opera (permanent), was a sponsored principal with British Youth Opera, and principal with Opera Theatre Company Dublin and RTE. Australian highlights include ABC broadcasts &TV, acting/singing in award winning films, (Cannes/ Venice/AFI) session musician/ singer-guitarist, and principal/ understudy with major Music Theatre shows in Sydney (IMG/Marriner, Capitol/Lyric theatres) and company principal, Opus Minor, Sydney. Semi-retired to Hobart, she enjoys singing jazz and appears as a guest soloist for EsqueOpera Launceston. Dr Jones is a university qualified schools teacher, K-12 Music.
