EXPERT PRIVATE TUITION IN THE HEART OF THE SHOALHAVEN
Chris is a highly-experienced player (of 37 yrs), an experienced drum teacher (of 10 yrs), and a qualified school teacher (with significant Special Education experience).
Most of my students are perfectly normal in every way; however, if you or your child have a disability, such as vision or hearing loss, Autism, or another, please consider me. I have already taught a boy, with total vision loss & an intellectual disability, to play. I also currently have a thriving student, with a significant vision and hearing loss, as well as a very talented lad with Autism.
Learn a range of styles with great timing and feel on acoustic or electronic drums, (quiet, even at night in a flat); and learn from the start, how to play with others! As soon as you or your child can play ‘Rhythm 1’, Chris will play guitar and sing (to a sufficient standard), to provide that basic band experience, from about the 3rd week!
Gain correct technique from the outset and reading skills to an advanced level.
“Our 12 year old daughter has had six months of 1/2 hour lessons and has come ahead in leaps and bounds, not only in skills but also in confidence. Chris clearly knows how to play but he also knows how to teach.” Martin Tattersal
“Chris is an awesome drum teacher! He has been teaching my son Anthony to play drums for 4 years now. Last December on presentation day, Anthony played drums with the school band. He is only 9 years old and he did an amazing job with “Ma Na Ma Na” which has a tricky drum arrangement. If you are local to the bay and basin area (or near enough) and are considering drumming lessons for your child (or yourself) give Chris a call.” Gail Kisnorbo
The first lesson is free if you mention this ad! Cheers, Chris.
$30 per half hour lesson; or $40 per 45 mins.
