DYLAN'S PIANO LESSONS

I have been teaching and instilling a passion for music to my students for over 15 years, ranging from ages 5 to 80 years old.

Aim:

My aim is to develop a student's passion for playing the piano so for each of my students I ask them to choose a few songs they would like to learn. I then create tailored YouTube piano tutorials and transcriptions for them to work on. In my experience students are much more receptive to learning when they are able to play songs they want to learn. In addition to this I teach students music theory and work through practical piano books to develop finger independence, technique, sight reading and performance skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education at the University of New South Wales
• Bachelor of Composition/Production at the Australian Institute of Music
• AMusA in Piano Performance
• 5th Grade Musicianship

So whether you would like to study music theory, piano performance, or would just like to be able to play the piano for personal enjoyment, I am excited to start teaching you!

Online Piano Lessons are available via Zoom with an overhead camera angle and face camera angle so students can see both the teacher and piano keys.
