Edward Plowman

Edward Plowman is a woodwind teacher in Melbourne. Edward started playing clarinet when he was 6 years old, switching to saxophone at 15 years old. After studying jazz performance at the Australian National University and Monash University Schools of Music his professional performance career has included playing principle tenor saxophone for Canberra Wind Symphony, musical theatre pit orchestras, the punk rock band When Our Turn Comes, and many small-combo jazz gigs including Melbourne, Wangaratta, and Manly jazz festivals. He has been teaching saxophone and clarinet since 2012, also specialising in jazz improvisation, harmony & music theory, aural skills, and performance technique.
