Eleanore Low is freelance violist, and instrumental music teacher. Graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Master of Music Studies, Eleanore has taught at many schools in Sydney and Melbourne, including Melbourne Youth Orchestras ensembles and Summer School, and regularly teaches in her own studio. Eleanore has worked with various outreach music programs, mentoring and inspiring young musicians on the Sydney Conservatorium New Northern Tour, Northern Rivers Youth Orchestra Camp in Lismore NSW, and Mid North Coast Strings Alliance in Port Macquarie NSW.

Eleanore teaches students of all ages, abilities and levels. She teaches each student with an approach and method tailored to their particular needs, combining a range of technique books, répertoire and syllabi. Eleanore believes that all individuals are capable of learning music and should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Broadening her passion for music education, Eleanore works at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School as an Education Support Staff (Administration), shaping the next generation of young artists.

As a freelance violist, Eleanore has performed with several orchestras and chamber ensembles such as the Australian Youth Orchestra, University of Sydney Graduate Choir Orchestra, Opera Projects Sydney, Sydney Contemporary Orchestra, Royal Melbourne Philharmonic, Melbourne Opera, The Impossible Orchestra, and Australian International Productions.
