Hi, I'm Elisha, I've been teaching instrumental music lessons for over a decade; both privately from my home studio as well as within primary schools covering one-on-one lessons, small group lessons and school choirs.
I have studied music at JMC Academy, MWT and had the opportunity to travel to California to study as well as Australia's own CMAA Academy of Country Music.
I absolutely love teaching and sharing my knowledge and experience of music to those around me. I believe music plays a huge part in our personal lives and can make a huge difference in the lives of those around us. Music is another tools for communication for many as well, I've learnt this over the years while working alongside those with special needs, seeing the breakthrough in their lives makes me appreciate the gift of music even more.
I am a recording artist having released my debut single "Home" and debut EP "Thoughts & Feelings" in 2021 with more single releases following. I have been a worship leader within the church back in Melbourne over the years and have been taken over the U.S.A leading praise and worship at churches and conferences as well. My faith is very important to me and is a major impact on my musical journey.
With all the years experience in music performance, music recording, worship leading, music studies, etc. It's safe to say I've picked up a lot over time....I teach singing, piano/keyboard, acoustic guitar, drums and theory. I don't necessarily prepare my students for exams as it is not for everyone. I prefer to get to know my students and learn their way of understanding. My teaching structure is different dependent on my students, so are the music books I teach from.
