I am passionate about teaching piano. I teach on a Kawai GL30 Grand piano in a private studio in my home in Inverloch.
I have been teaching for a very long time and have developed a lot of patience and resources so that you get the most out of each lesson.
I teach to the individual and we learn technique, sight reading, theory and musicianship based on the pieces you choose to learn.
I am classically trained so I teach you the basics from this perspective but we use today's popular tunes instead of yesterday's traditional songs which are no longer widely known. I also use iPad and computer software to learn theory and to play with interesting accompaniments.
I love ensemble playing and many lessons include duet playing which helps with the development of rhythm. Did I mention that duets are also fun and usually end up in laughter?
