Elizabeth Panov

Has been teaching Music for over 30 years. She gained my Bachelors of Music Degree in Performance & Education in 1984. At the age of 16 Elizabeth had gained her AMusA (Associate in Music) in Guitar. When entering university, she majored in Voice where she gained her degrees. Further studies continued, and Elizabeth had later gained her TMusA (Teacher of Music) in Piano.
Elizabeth lived in the Sutherland Shire for 30 years. In 1985 she opened her own music school and had called this Panov Music Academy. The school ran extremely successfully where over 500 students per week were being taught. With the success of the school, she was invited to join a franchise with Forte School of Music.
Over the years Elizabeth had adjudicated for Eisteddfods, completed workshops in performance in Piano, Voice, Guitar and all other instruments. She also worked at the Oatley Campus as guest lecturer.
During the course of have the school Elizabeth worked along Profession Chung for the International College of Music and assisted in the establishment of the College. She had worked alongside Darrel Hines and Dr Burtenshaw.
Each year at Panov Music Academy, Elizabeth invited students to participate in the annual Scholarship’s. She is hoping by the year 2023 that this can be offered for her new Studio AMS – (Andante Music Studio). Her guest judges varied from, Darrel Hines, Dr Rita Crews, Profession Chung and Kathryn Phillips, just to name a few of her close colleagues.
In 2006 Elizabeth had sold the school due to family illness. She was unable to teach privately for a period of seven years. During this time, she gained further qualifications in Bookkeeping & Business Management.
Elizabeth currently teaches privately at her home studio at Denham Court and continues to do casual teaching on call amongst other work as the Music Studio builds up.
In 2020 Elizabeth joined the Mini Maestros Group where the course offers children the ages of 6months to 5years a Pre Music-Program development program, based on the Kodaly and Orff methods. In 2021 our first graduates of Mini Maestros completed the course and will be now joining either a private instrumental lesson or continues will continue with our new Group Keyboard Classes.
