Emily Huang (Emily's Piano Studio)

I am an experienced and passionate piano teacher with an education background. I have been involved in private music teaching since 2012. My students include all ages and levels; ranging from beginner children to intermediate and advanced teenagers and adults. I prepare students for AMEB, Trinity and ABRSM examinations. Students doing piano for leisure is also welcome.

I believe all students have different learning styles, so I design my lessons based on different pedagogical methods to cater for each students’ needs. My goal is to provide students the opportunity to explore all wonders of music, and make each lesson an engaging and meaningful experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Awarded distinction on Associated Diploma (ATCL) from Trinity College London (2009)
• Bachelor of Music/ Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

I have also worked at many high schools over the past few years and is currently teaching music at a secondary high school. I understand student diversity, and had experience teaching students with special needs.

Lessons will be held on a Kawai CX2 Grand piano.
Air-condition available at the studio.
Lessons can also be taught in Mandarin Chinese.
