Pricing: $30 per half hour / $45 per 45min / $60 per hour
Music tuition is currently available in piano, voice and music theory/musicianship. Emily Taylor has a Bachelor of Music and a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has been teaching for 8 years, and her students have achieved outstanding results! She also has industry experience, being part of a band for a number of years which played at renowned music venues such as The Zoo, and The Hi-Fi Bar.
Combinations of piano/voice, piano/music theory, voice/music theory, piano/voice/music theory are also available, however as students progress it is suggested that lesson times increase for combination classes (45min, 1hr) so that material can be covered in enough depth.
Lessons are catered to your specific needs by focusing on helping you to achieve your goals, whether they be:
• Preparing for exams or auditions
• Playing music of your own choice
• Working on school/orchestra/band music you might still need some help with
• Technical work to help you improve as a musician (scales, exercises, studies)
• Ideas on composing/improvising
Lessons are designed to have a balance of fun and training – enhancing your musicianship skills, while still doing what you love!
Generally students will receive one half hour lesson per week in accordance with the school term, unless otherwise negotiated. Each term of lessons costs $30 per half hour, $45 per 45min or $60 per hour. Invoices will be issued upon confirmation of enrolment. Students are able to enrol midway through the term.
