Emily Thornton

I am a flute performance major at ANU. I completed my Associate of Music in 2019 and achieved the highest possible result in the Music Extension HSC course and was nominated for Encore. I also have extensive experience in solo, chamber music and orchestral performance.

I have six years of music tutoring experience and offer lessons for beginner to advanced flutists. I recommend 30 minute lessons for younger players and 45-60 minute lessons for ages 11+ I have enjoyed every minute of my past eleven years of playing and encourage anybody to try the flute!
