Looking for an affordable, experienced piano teacher for yourself, or your son or daughter?
I would love to help you out. My name is Emma and I have been teaching piano for 7 years now. I have lots of experience in teaching a range of students, from youngsters who are just starting out, to intermediate students wanting to play fun repertoire, to teenagers who are interested in learning about playing contemporary styles such as pop and rock, to teaching about jazz harmony and improvisation.
I completed my Amus in piano in 2008 when I was in year 10, and I just completed my Bachelor of Music with first class honours at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
As well as private students, I have also had experience as a piano tutor at St Aloysius College.
As well as being a piano teacher, I have a rich musical life as a performer, and I am passionate about passing on the joy that I get from playing music as well as teaching the skills that I believe have been the most useful for me as a working musician.
