started playing guitar at a young age.progressed to playing in bands/duos in the 80s/90s.attended Newcastle Conservatorium studying classical guitar and taking jazz lessons in sydney.Commenced private music lessons in 1986.worked in various music shops in Newcastle/Maitland area. also teaching at primary/secondary schools since 1992.
