I am currently a 1st year medical student at the University of Melbourne, and have had over 4 years of experience providing musical and academic tutoring for primary and high school students, as well as adult beginners. Through group cello classes I also have extensive experience advising and coaching other students in the technical and musical aspects of cello playing.
I have over 12 years of cello playing experience and have attained my LmusA in cello performance. I have performed as a soloist with the Melbourne Grammar Symphony Orchestra and the Melbourne University Biomedicine Student's Orchestra.
During my time in high school at Melbourne Grammar, I was a member of the Symphony and String Orchestras as well as the Baroque Ensemble, serving variously as Principal or Assistant Principal Cellist.
I have served as the Principal cellist of the Melbourne University Biomedicine Student's Orchestra (MUBSO) and the Medical Student's Orchestra, and have also performed in the University of Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra. I also have a passion for chamber music and perform regularly with a number of ensembles.
