Hi, I'm Erica.

My ukulele lessons focus on efficient technique, musical flexibility, and creative independence. They’re well suited to students who want to accompany themselves as singers, explore songwriting and improvisation, or build stronger foundations in rhythm, harmony and musicianship.

We can also explore ear training, music theory, and creative projects — always tailored to your goals, and paced to support long-term progress and enjoyment.

Students I work with include:

• Singer-songwriters looking to improve accompaniment skills, explore new harmonic ideas, or develop original songs.

• Self-taught players ready to deepen their technique, fill gaps in theory knowledge, or explore jazz harmony and improvisation.

• Classically trained musicians interested in expanding into folk, pop, or jazz styles — with or without vocals.

• Children or teenagers who want to sing and play their favourite songs.

• Total beginners wanting to build confidence with playing (and possibly singing too).

• Ukulele club members seeking extra support to keep up with more experienced players.

I have been teaching since 2014 and hold a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts. Alongside teaching, I work as a professional vocalist, instrumentalist and producer.

Lessons are available in Vermont, Bentleigh, or online from anywhere.
